Snow & Ice Weather Services Provided

Snow Removal:

Typically we start removing snow with plow trucks, snow blowers, and by hand with shovels when depth has reached 2”.

  • Standard Residential Service:  Driveway, walk to front door & front porch.
  • Standard Commercial Service:  Parking Lots & entrances to the parking lot. Any Sidewalks by request from management.
  • Snow Relocation:   Snow relocation becomes necessary in many cases where a business needs all the parking spaces they have in the parking lot. Snow is typically plowed to areas on the property that may take up some parking areas.
    • Move Snow Piles: For the big snow events that produce large snow accumulations of 8” and over. Large snow piles can take up important parking spaces. These snow piles can be moved to adjacent areas on property such as an open lawn area or open landscape areas. We would use a type of loader machine and an experienced operator.
    • Hauling & Dumping of Snow: If relocating the excessive snow piles is not an option on your property. The snow can be hauled off site for your convenience.

De-Icing Treatments:

We suggest that a form of de-icer is applied to any parking lot, sidewalk, or driveway area following the removal of snow, before a predicted ice event, and when a snow storm has ended with 0-1” accumulations, to ensure that you have the safest property conditions possible during winter weather.

  • Ice Melt: Typically applied to concrete areas; driveways, sidewalks, or concrete parking lot areas. Our crews our informed with an exact # of lbs. to apply based on the sq. footage of your property to ensure that the amount applied is what the ice melt manufacturer recommends to be a safe application for concrete. Ice melt we use will melt ice in much lower temperatures than rock salt, safer for concrete than your average ice melt, and will be visible to the eye from a dye that’s added to the ice melt.
  • Rock Salt: Typically applied to any asphalt areas; parking lots, driveways, walkways, and streets. Using rock salt as a de-icer is a much cheaper option than using ice melt.

Custom Areas Service: Residential or Commercial:

Extra parking lots, driveways, walkways, handicap areas, decks, and stairways anywhere on your property can be added to our standard snow removal and de-icing service. With our advanced client software and technology we have the ability to ensure each and every service technician that comes to perform service has the most up to date special notes regarding customized service for you. Our technicians also come with visual property maps for all our commercial properties, & residential properties. This gives the technician a clear understanding of what walkways, driveways, steps, parking lots, entrances, etc. to service.

Our Winter Weather Standard Plan of Attack

The removal of snow and ice from the specified parking lots and walkways of businesses and residential areas will occur when the snow fall reaches an accumulation of 2″. Snow will be plowed to the outer perimeters of the areas specified. We will apply deicer in all of the following situations automatically: Snowfall has ended with 0-1″ accumulation, when plowing has been completed, if an additional 2″ of accumulation is expected when done plowing we will only apply salt to the drive lanes of parking lot. If ice accumulated to the point where vehicle and/or pedestrian traffic cannot move about safely, deicer will be applied to the property. Pretreatments with deicer (salt and or ice melt) will occur in the following situations: weather service predicting freezing rain, sleet, or any amounts of snow fall expected with temperatures below 25 degrees Fahrenheit, during winter storm and up to 12 hour after the winter storm. We look forward to being your snow removal company!
